The DEPOTAL DOCK® hose is designed for the transfer of milk and other liquid foodstuffs. It is suitable for use in tanker lorries for milk collection and transport, dairy unloading bays, stationary equipment, and processing and filling plants. It can also handle liquids like wine, beer, cider, fruit juice, vinegar, and alcohol up to 96%, but is not suitable for fatty foodstuffs and oils.
The hose is very flexible and features a smooth, food-grade quality tube that prevents bacterial growth. It is resistant to temperature changes, abrasion, and weather conditions. The standard manufacturing length is 40 meters. It can be cleaned with steam at a maximum of 110°C for up to 10 minutes.
The tube is made of smooth, white, food-grade natural rubber. It is reinforced with synthetic textile and an embedded steel helix. The outer cover is made of smooth blue natural rubber with a fabric impression.
The hose complies with FDA 21 CFR 177 2600, BfR, EU regulations No. 1935/2004, 2023/2006, and is phthalate-free.
The hose can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C. It is available with NRS® reusable ferrules for assembling.
