Mixing Mechanism
The mixer uses a three-arm impeller that rotates close to the wall and bottom of the cylindrical mixing drum, creating a vortex for short mixing times and excellent homogeneity. A separately driven chopper disperses lumps and ensures uniform moistening and granulation.

Liquid Addition
Liquids can be added via pump or gravity, directly above the chopper for optimal distribution. An optional wet sieve calibrates wet granules during discharge, which can be directed into a vessel or transported pneumatically to a Fluid Bed Dryer.

Control System
The PC/PLC-based control system is equipped with the SCADA system WinCC, compliant with CFR 21 Part 11. It features an intuitive user interface for both service and automatic modes, with all parameters, graphs, and messages displayed on-screen. Batch documentation is available in both hard and soft copies, and warnings and alarms are highlighted for immediate attention.
