Overview
The CoriMix® CM is a continuous ringlayer mixer designed for high throughput capacities and excellent product homogeneity. It is versatile, easy to clean, and operate, ensuring high process reliability and long equipment life.

Specifications
The mixer is available in various sizes, with gross volumes ranging from 5 dm³ to 700 dm³ and throughput capacities from 240 dm³/h to 42,000 dm³/h, depending on the product and process.

Applications
The CoriMix® CM is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including chemistry, agrochemistry, food, pharma, building materials, plastics/polymers, animal feed, cellulose derivatives, starch derivatives, wood fibre, powder detergent, and environmental applications.

Processes
The mixer supports processes such as mixing, dispersing, de-agglomerating, wetting, gluing, paste production, densifying, granulating, agglomerating, and back-mixing.

Technical Features
The mixer complies with Atex conformity according to the 2014/34/EU guideline. It offers a selection of product contact materials, a double jacket for heating/cooling, exchangeable liners for wear or corrosion protection, and process-specific mixing tools.

Mode of Operation
The system operates on high peripheral speed mixing shaft tools, forming a concentric annular layer of product. The product moves through the machine in a plug-flow manner, with the mixing chamber divided into zones of different shear intensity. Liquid components are introduced directly into the product annular layer to minimize undesirable wetting of the mixer walls or shaft.
