ROBOT POLAR

ROBOT POLAR

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Robot-Polar-System is an all-automatic system designed for the treatment of swarf through processes such as crushing, separating, screening, de-oiling, drying, transport, and storage. It offers high throughput due to short cycle times and is versatile for general use. The system ensures exact separation of cycles using a single drum for treatment and transport, minimizing operational expenditure through complete automation.
Advantages:
  • High throughput with short cycle times.
  • Versatile combinations for general use.
  • Exact cycle separation with a single drum.
  • No swarf crusher needed due to optimized cycle sizes.
  • Minimal operational costs due to automation.
  • Interlinkage with existing components.
  • Clear separation of different swarf and coolant/lubricant types.
Swarf Treatment: The system addresses the rising requirements for quality in machined parts by ensuring the recycling of swarf waste, which contains a significant portion of coolant. The Robot-Polar-System facilitates the separation of swarf and coolants, adhering to standards like DIN EN 12861 for NE-metals, which dictate low moisture content and minimal foreign material.
System Features: The modular construction allows for customized swarf processing, adapting to specific requirements. The system can operate without a swarf crusher, accommodating long swarf and mixed materials. Swarf is filled into centrifuge drums at the processing machine and transported to the system, with options for manual or automated handling.
Loading and Discharge: Swarf loading can be adapted to customer requirements, using centrifuge drums or swarf barrows. Discharge options include manageable and fixed stations, with the possibility of sieving devices for separation. The system supports container loading with floor or roof fixing, ensuring efficient and complete container filling.
Technical Data:
  • Models: RP 5, RP 6, RP 7
  • Max loading per cycle: 100 kg (RP 5), 150/300 kg (RP 6 & RP 7)
  • Max cycles per hour: 10
  • Drum diameter: 500 mm (RP 5), 600 mm (RP 6), 700 mm (RP 7)
  • Drum height: 475 mm (RP 5), 495 mm (RP 6), 550 mm (RP 7)
  • Filling volume: 70 liters (RP 5), 105 liters (RP 6), 165 liters (RP 7)
  • Speed: 400/980 min-1 (RP 5), 400/735 min-1 (RP 6 & RP 7)

ROBOT POLAR-1

ROBOT-POLAR-Systems All-automatic systems for swarf treatment in cycles by crushing, separating, screening, de-oiling, drying, transport and storage. Advantages • High through-put due to short cycle times • For general use thanks to versatile possibilities of combination • Exact separation of cycles since only one drum is used for treatment and transport • As the cycle sizes are optimized, no swarf crusher is necessary • Minimal operational expenditure due to complete automization of the operating cycles • Interlinkage with already existing components is possible For clear separation of different swarf and coolant/lubricant types

2 Robot-Polar-System for the treatment of swarf Constantly rising requirements concerning the quality of machined parts to be manufactured make an exact choice of the appropriate materials and coolants for the process of manufacture ever more important. Due to rising costs for material and technically perfected coolants it is absolutely necessary to prepare the „swarf waste“ from the process of manufacture for recycling and thus for reuse. Depending on the swarf material and its geometry, this „swarf waste“ contains a coolant portion between 15% and 50%. This portion of coolant gets lost when...

3 Swarf release Swarf barrows bigger than 150l, long swarf: Loading long swarf from swarf barrows having a volume of more than 150l requires a swarf crusher. The size of swarf crusher to be used depends on the volume of the swarf barrow and the required through-put of the system. The swarf barrows are inserted in a lifiting and tipping device, either directly by a manually operated handling truck or by a fork-lift truck and then discharged into the swarf crusher. Tippable swarf barrows can be discharged directly into the hopper of the swarf crusher. Swarf loading Swarf barrows bigger than 150l,...
