Overview of Product Range

Bioalcohol Production: GEA Wiegand designs and delivers complete processing plants for producing bioalcohol from raw materials containing starch and sugar, such as corn, wheat, sorghum, cassava, beet, and molasses. The main features include reliable, proven processes, closed cyclical processes, and the highest possible product quality of alcohol, DDGS, and carbon dioxide.
Scope of Supply: Includes systems for raw material treatment, fermentation, distillation, dehydration, and stillage treatment up to drying systems for purifying raw alcohol for producing neutral and fine alcohol. It also includes systems for alcohol dehydration and combinations with plants for producing starch, gluten, glucose, etc. The systems are designed for minimum energy consumption and feature highly sophisticated process control systems.
