GD Hot Water Unit Description The Hot Water Unit is a compact modular frame unit to provide hot water for various applications with different temperatures. The Hot Water Unit consists of a water- and steam-regulating system with a PHE for water heating. It is completely assembled with water pumps, condensate pump, valves and all necessary piping. Application The Hot Water Unit contains a main water cycle to feed the first water cycle and up to three additional water loops, each with circulating pump and temperature regulation. The nominal capacity due to heat of the main cycle is 800,000 BTU/HR. The heat capacity of the secondary loops depends on the application. The working pressure of the main water loop is 20 psi. Options Water circulation pump in the secondary loops are also available with 110 GPM. Integration The main cycle has a high heat capacity, so the Hot Water Unit in very flexible in use and can be customized in an optional way. The secondary loops depend on customer requirements and can be flexibly used until the maximum heating capacity of the main cycle is reached. Materials Water contacting parts are made in stainless steel AISI 304.
