GD Gear Wheel Pump Description The GD High Pressure Gear Wheel Pump is designed to give optimum flowrate/pressure conditions for shortening processing with or without nitrogen injection. Application Transfer of full fat products like Shortening and Vegetable Oils through a Scrape Surface Heat Exchanger. Control Inverter duty gearmotor will allow for full control of flowrates required for various process applications. Local mounted starter cabinet can be supplied as an option. Materials The GD Gear Wheel Pump can be supplied in either Cast Integration The GD Gear Wheel Pump is fully assembled on a heavy-duty base-plate with gear-motor and coupling. Further, the unit is complete with: • Safety relief valve (up to 1,450 psi) • Pressure gauge and/or pressure transmitter • Bypass for Air-Clean including valves • In-line strainer • Adjustable machine feet Steel, Cast Iron or Stainless Steel.
