Technical Specifications: The magnetic drums consist of a magnetic unit that can be oriented and extended over approximately 180 degrees. A non-magnetic steel casing surrounds the magnetic unit and rotates on the drum's axis. The drums operate by gravity or extraction, attracting ferromagnetic intrusions in a static magnetic field and retaining them until they reach the unloading area. The cleaned process material continues on a belt or drops into a bin.
Technology: The magnetizing field is generated by conductor coils (aluminum, copper) wound around a low carbon steel core or by groups of magnets made from Ferrite or Rare Earths (Neodymium, iron, and boron alloy), depending on the application.
