SPEEDY CONNECT AND DISCONNECT Gates iLok ™ coupling is a threaded design with coarse, flattened threads to allow hand-tightening. It can be connected in seconds, and disengaging the connection is quick and easy as well. Simply cut and remove the cable lock and turn the swivel nut counterclockwise 2½ turns by hand. APPLICATION RATINGS THE ILOK™ TERMINATION IS CHARACTERIZED WITH A DUAL RATING SYSTEM DEPENDING ON APPLICATION: MINING OR HYDRAULIC. The Mining application rating is used for direct comparisons to standard mining terminations such as Stecko, Super Stecko, SSKV where qualification is 4:1 burst & 300,000 impulse cycles at working pressure (i.e. for WP = 42.0 MPa, burst is 168.0 MPa & 300,000 impulse cycles at 42.0 MPa impulse pressure).
