THE Pump Model

THE Pump Model

Product catalog summary
Performance Ratings:
The document provides detailed performance ratings for the Horizontal Drilling Duty Pump, specifying displacement at various pump RPMs for different piston/liner sizes. Key parameters include gallons per minute (GPM), liters per minute (LPM), pressure in PSI and kg/cm2, and input power in BHP and kW. The performance figures assume 100% volumetric efficiency and 90% mechanical efficiency, suitable for directional drilling duty cycles.
Specifications:
The pump has a maximum brake horsepower (BHP) of 215 (160 kW) and a maximum RPM of 300. It features three plungers, a stroke length of 5 inches (127 mm), and a plunger load of 37,000 lbs (16,965 kg). The discharge hydrostatic test pressure is 3,600 psi (1,633 kg/cm2), with an oil capacity of 12 gallons (45 liters) and a pump weight of 3,990 lbs (1,810 kg).
Standard Equipment:
The pump includes eccentric construction, left or right side suction and discharge connections, pressure lubricated power end, bronze rod and eccentric bearings, and stainless steel, abrasion-resistant, wing-guided valves. It also features chrome liners in various sizes and a rod wash spray bar and baffles.
Optional Equipment:
Optional features include a splined drive shaft, flange for gear reducer, and ceramic sleeved liners. The suction flange size is 6 inches, and the discharge flange size is 3 inches. The pump dimensions are 36.50 inches in length, 38.75 inches in width, and 17.375 inches in height.
Additional Information:
A lubrication system supplying oil at 50 psi, 12 GPM, and 200 SUS (44cSt) minimum values is required, with oil cooling recommended. A pressure relief valve must be installed in the discharge line near the pump to prevent breakage. For further details, contact Gardner Denver Pump Division.

THE Pump Model-1

HORIZONTAL DRILLING DUTY PUMP Discharge Hydrostatic Test Pressure PERFORMANCE RATINGS A lubrication system supplying oil at 50 psi, 12 gpm and 200 SUS (44cSt) minimum values is required. Oil cooling is recommended and may be required to maintain these values. For operation in the Yellow shaded area expendable part life decreases and excellent NPSH is required to prevent cavitation. Performance figures based on 100% volumetric efficiency and 90% mechanical efficiency. These figures are for use in directional drilling duty cycle. "This equals full rod load 33% of the time, 60% rod load 50% of the time and 25% rod load 17% of the time, for a total of 1456 hours per year.
