Optimised hood design The hood is designed for maximum extraction efficiency. This makes it ideal for capturing welding fumes and other hot contaminants. For isothermal (non-hot) contaminants, extraction efficiency can be further improved by taking advantage of the Coanda effect. Optimise hood position For optimal results from the extraction arm, it is important to leverage the extractor's flexibility to get as close as possible to the contaminant.
