DOUBLE KNIFE VENEER GUILLOTINE A-This accuracy is obtained by the fact that the whole veneer bundle is under pressure while cutting, so that buckles in the veneers will be straightened out. The cutting movement is done on both sides of the veneer edges at the same time. B-Thanks to the high speed movement on the working table by servo motor with 3 sets of linear guides and 2 sets of ballscrews, the operator can simply cut veneer bundles by just one button. C-This user-friendly control panel is able to hold with more than 50 sets of different veneer width at the same time in a direct program mode. D-The manually operated laser line for the position of the front knife is quickly set. The veneer width is transferred to the comuter at the push of a button. The cutting process is then started automatically. A. The working table is moved forwards and backwards by a servo motor with 3 sets of linear guides B. The laser line (B1) indicates where the rear knife will cut in the initial position, while the laser line (B2) is movable according to the wanted veneer cutting width. C. The packbeam is moving up and down clamping the veneer bundle completely during the cutting process so that the veneers are straightened out while cutting. D. The front knife is mounted on the main frame and cut from the top against the working table. E. The rear knife is mounted on the rear of the table and cuts upwards against the packbeam. F.
