Portable DICOM Images With Component Records" An inexpensive way to easily produce, transport and view full-fidelity DICOM images with component records and reports. Today's Radiography Departments spend a lot of money, time, and space supporting radiographers and interpreters. Everyday, they have to produce hundreds of films and reports for interpreters to review. Reproducing films can be costly and time consuming, while diminishing the image quality. Producing original films requires tracking the bulky images and relinquishing control. Retrieving them may prove tedious. And web-based versions of reviewing full-fidelity images have multiple limitations. RADinfo Systems addresses these concerns with DynamIX Image Share, a low cost, simplified process to create CDs containing diagnostic quality images, reports and component records End users can view the CD on any Microsoft Windows PC without loading additional software (DICOM viewer included). The CD's user interface was designed with the technician in mind, so it's very intuitive and user acceptable. DynamIX Image Share consists of a PC work- station and a multi-CD Generator, which produces individual CDs. CD Generators range in size and capacity depending on facility needs. DynamIX Image Share DynamIX Image Share can connect to the RIS to acquire key component information, plus the DICOM network for access to all DICOM modalities, image archive servers or film digitizers. It can also operate as a stand-alone workstation connected directly to a film digitizer. To create a CD, simply "drag and drop" any study from a component Worklist window into the CD Content window and press "Cut CD." It's that simple. The high-speed CD Generator writes full CDs in minutes and custom prints facility logos and unique study identifiers on each CD. So there's no need to manually create labels. When a modality (including film digitizer) is used to generate image studies, users will never have to retype component information with the DICOM Worklist Manager enabled. With DynamIX Image Share, Radiography Departments can now centralize hundreds of images and component records into one CD for a fraction of the cost of producing films and reports.
