Operation: Wastewater enters the screen flume, where it is cleaned. Screenings are discharged, de-watered, and compacted. The screen is resistant to wear from grit and stones. The aerated grit chamber, designed according to DWA standards, separates mineral superfines, with grit collected at the tank bottom and conveyed by a spiral conveyor. A grease trap operates parallel to the grit separator, collecting floating grease, which is removed by a pump.

Material/Make: The tank and cover are made of stainless steel SS304 or SS316, with other materials available on request. The screw/spiral is also stainless steel, and the wear liner is HDPE. Drives are geared motors by SEW.
