The functional princi- As a new, innovative idea, the vision of developing a styrene-free gelcoat was realised by FreiLacke. It should ple be processable with the usual peroxides and the common processing parameters. It should also be compatible with the familiar reinforcement systems based on UP. This new gelcoat - structured from a monomer-free UP resin with special low viscosity and VOC-free reactive monomers - has several advantages to offer.
