Production Process:
The IMC process can be categorized into 'open' and 'closed' processes. In the open process, coating and reinforcing material application occur in a non-closed tool. In the closed process, the tool is sealed after the coating layer is applied. The production involves coating a heated mould (50-65°C), back injection moulding, and demoulding the coated component.
