The pump must be coupled with a synchronous or asynchronous electric motor single-phase (up to 2.2 kW) or three-phase (up to 45 kW); dimensions according to IEC 60034-1 or Nema standard, based on motor type. The default motors (Lafert brand) are Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, air cooled, asynchronous, for non-explosive risk environments. However, explosion proof (ATEX) and three-phase synchronous motors are available on request. The features of the original equipment motors up to 4 kW are indicated in the table below.
