Construction:
The laboratory furnace features a compact design with control panels located at the bottom to minimize size. The inner casing is made of ceramic fiber, while the outer casing is stainless steel. The furnace includes optimized heat insulation made entirely of asbestos-free ceramic fiber, ensuring efficient operation, low external temperature, and excellent thermal stability. A double skin design with an air gap between the insulated chamber and outer body keeps the outer body, especially the door, at a low temperature. The door opens manually downwards.
Heating:
The heating elements surround the chamber for homogeneous heating. A solid-state relay is used for activating and deactivating the heating elements, ensuring no wear. A micro switch at the door edge cuts off heating when the door is opened.
Exhaust Air and Fresh Air Supply:
A 20 mm diameter exhaust vent is provided at the rear of the furnace.
Temperature Control and Safety:
The furnace uses an S thermocouple for temperature sensing, controlled by a precise microprocessor-based controller for high accuracy. The controller prevents the set temperature from being exceeded and includes an adjustable deviation limit alarm for class 3.1 protection. It digitally displays set and actual temperature values and includes a heater indicator lamp. The control panel features an ON/OFF switch and a fault indicator lamp that lights when the safety device is activated. A 230 Volts plug is located at the rear.
Quality Control:
Each furnace undergoes careful checking at the end of the production process, with a check report available upon request.
Applications:
The XKL15 laboratory furnace is suitable for various high-temperature treatments such as burning, degassing, pre-heating, hardening, tempering, annealing of metals, stress relief, stabilization, and tests across many industrial sectors.
Performance:
The furnace operates up to 1200°C with an electronic PID controller and ramping to set up temperature. Temperature fluctuation is less than ±1°C.
