Create your own inserts Standard Formdrill types Formdrills are available in all sizes, from 2.0 to 25.4 mm in increments of 0.1 mm. Two lengths of drills are available depending on the thickness of the material to be machined: Short Formdrill: The tool has a shorter cylindrical portion and produces a slightly conical bush that is perfectly suited for forming the threads.
