For safety against unusual operation, two limit switch at the end of both end position of actuator are installed. The mold clamp axis mechanism is driven by a rotary electro-mechanical actuator and 9 point toggle with a connecting rod. A load cell is used to obtain the clamping force, and this load-cell will be directly connected to the intelligent motor drive this gives a fast control and smooth transition from velocity to end position and pressure build up, Motin control algorism is implemented in the intelligent multi axis drive IDBM.
