TheLMDandHDcoils aremadeof encapsulated plastic. The LMD Therm coil housings are made of brass. They can be dismantled and repaired. Servicing instructions are available for therm. They are also watercooled and designed for material temperatures up to 1200 °C. If used in permanent yoke, the permitted material temperature is, however, limited to + 400 °C. Two sizes are available, whereby size I is fitted in the magnetizing yoke P 40T using a coil adapter.
