Product catalog summary
Overview
The Oven Tracker® Thermocouple Range 1 offers a comprehensive selection of thermocouples designed for accuracy, repeatability, and ease of operation. These thermocouples are exceptionally durable, featuring a quad-wrapped, 10-strand 36 AWG metal braid and PTFE sheath. They adhere to ANSI MC96.1 Special Limits of Error and use the IEC584 color standard for Type K thermocouples.
Specifications
  • Type K thermocouple with a circular cable cross-section to reduce kinking and twisting.
  • Available in various cable lengths.
  • Strong crimped plug/cable attachment.
MicroMag Thermocouples
Utilizing Samarium Cobalt magnet technology, these miniature thermocouples are ideal for tight recesses, such as car body shells. They offer quick and easy attachment to ferrous substrates and are designed for use even on wet painted and E-coated surfaces. Available in surface and air variants with maximum temperatures of 265ºC (509ºF).
IRMag Surface Thermocouple
Designed for ferrous substrates in IR cure ovens, these thermocouples offer easy attachment and fast response, suitable for automotive IR repair operations. They withstand magnet temperatures up to 300ºC (572ºF) and cable temperatures up to 400ºC (752ºF).
Magnetic Thermocouples
These thermocouples feature a magnet offset from the sensor to prevent heat sink effects and are PTFE coated to prevent sticking. They are recommended for E-coat applications and offer a maximum temperature of 265ºC (509ºF).
AluClamp Surface Thermocouple
Designed for nonferrous panels, these thermocouples clip onto the edge of an aluminum car hood, allowing surface temperature measurement at the panel's center.
Aluminum Automotive Thermocouples
Specifically for aluminum car body shells, these thermocouples feature a spring-loaded bobbin for secure attachment. They are available in surface and air variants with a maximum temperature of 265ºC (509ºF).

Thermocouple range 1-1

Oven Tracker® Thermocouple Range 1 A comprehensive range to suit your exact application needs • Designed to be accurate, repeatable and easy to operate • Exceptionally durable, quad wrapped, 10 strand 36 AWG (0.125 mm/0.005 in), metal braid and PTFE sheathed* Type K thermocouple • Specified to ANSI MC96.I Special Limits of Error (±0.4% or ±1.1°C/±2.0°F, whichever is greater) • IEC584 color standard (green) for Type K thermocouples • Strong ‘crimped' plug/cable attachment • Circular cable cross section to reduce kinking and twisting • Various cable lengths available MICROMAG THERMOCOUPLES Employing state of art Samarium Cobalt magnet technology, these miniature surface and air thermocouples allow placement into the tightest of recesses. Ideal for car body shell areas that are difficult to access. Benefiting from a low thermal mass, response characteristics challenge those of exposed junction thermocouples with the benefit of quick and easy attachment to ferrous substrates. Despite its size, 17 mm (0.7 in) diameter, the magnet strength guarantees secure attachment up to the maximum experienced paint and powder coating cure temperatures. Encapsulated magnet design allowing reliable direct use even on wet painted and E-coated substrates. No risk of either magnet damage or magnet loss when the probe is removed from cured paint surface at the end of the oven process. Supplied with aluminum knob for easy routine rugged handling. Removable, if necessary, to suit application requirements.
