Features and main components Roller assemblies Roller Assemblies comprise the finished roller tire with studs, edge protection and shaft. The roll shafts are fabricated from forged, heat treated alloy steel with integral journals. The journals have tapered withdrawal sleeves to accommodate the installation of the tapered bore bearings and include the necessary features for hydraulic removal of bearings.
