SOM 1000

SOM 1000

Product catalog summary
Overview: This document outlines the process and specifications for a wastewater treatment system designed by Flexo Wash. The system is intended for the automatic treatment and handling of wastewater containing emulsified hydrocarbons, particulate matter, dyes, inks, and other contaminants.
Process Description:
  • Collection and Initial Separation: Wastewater is initially collected in an oil/sludge separator tank before being transferred to a buffer tank.
  • Pumping and Reactor Feeding: An automatic pump feeds the wastewater into the reactor of the Split-O-Mat plant.
  • Mixing and Flocculation: Once the reactor is full, a mixer is activated, and the splitting agent ENVIFLOC® 1010 is added. This agent is a blend of balancing minerals and chemicals that facilitate the flocculation process.
  • Filtration: The flocculated contaminants form a filterable matter, which is then separated as the water/sludge mixture passes through filter paper on a conveyor system.
  • Discharge and Disposal: Clean water is discharged into the drainage system, while the remaining waste is collected for disposal in a landfill or incinerator.
Specifications:
  • Dimensions: 210 x 86 x 174 cm
  • Liquid Volume Processed: 8 m3 per day
  • Power Requirement: 3 x 400V
  • Splitting Agent: ENVIFLOC® 1010
  • Energy Consumption: 0.2 kWh/m3
Additional Information: The unit is designed for integration with other Flexo Wash systems to enhance automation in cleanup and waste management. It is particularly beneficial in reducing production costs associated with waste by-products and complements Flexo Wash's closed-loop cleaning systems.

SOM 1000-1

This unit is designed for the automatic treatment and handling of waste water with emulsified hydrocarbons, particulate matter, dyes, inks, etc. The unique design allows for total integration with any of the units in the Flexo Wash line, to further enhance full automation in cleanup and waste management. 1. The waste water is collected in a buffer tank, having first collected in an oil/sludge separator tank 2. A pump with automatic on/off control, feeds the waste water into the reactor of the Split-O-Mat plant. 3. When the reactor is full, the mixer is put into operation by adding the splitting agent ENVIFLOC® 1010, a blend of balancing minerals and chemicals. 4. The waste water is flocculated with the contaminants clinging to the minerals to create a filterable matter. 5. The water/sludge mixture drains through the filter paper as it rolls along on a conveyor, which is triggered into action automatically as needed. Dimensions 210 x 86 x 174 cm Liquid Volume Processed 8 m3 per day Required power 3 x 400V Splitting agent Consumption 6. The water is discharged into the drainage system, while the waste water is deposited into a container, for later disposal in landfill or incinerator. This product is essential in plants where waste by-products are driving up the cost of production. It is also a superb compliment to the closed-loop cleaning systems designed by Flexo Wash.
