FLEXITALLIC CFP 1 FLEXITALLIC LIMITED PO BOX 3 MARSH WORKS DEWSBURY ROAD CLECKHEATON WEST YORKSHIRE BD19 5BT TEL: 01274 851273 FAX: 01274 851386 PRODUCT REFERENCE: FLEXITALLIC CFP 1 DESCRIPTION: Flexitallic CFP 1 is a high temperature braided packing manufactured from ceramic fibre yarns. The yarn contains an inconel wire carrier which helps maintain the integrity of the packing in conditions of vibration. SERVICE: Flexitallic CFP 1 is recommended for high temperature applications including caulking, thermal insulation, boiler seating, furnace joints, oven and autoclave doors. Flexitallic CFP 1 is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and corrosive agents except hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis. HEALTH AND SAFETY Because of the processes which take place during manufacture, the product is believed to present no health and safety hazard and, under normal handling and use it is unlikely that the product will give rise to significant levels of exposure to constituent materials. FLEXITALLIC CFP 1 contains ceramic fibre yarns and an inconel wire carrier. Under harsh mechanical treatment (e.g. abrasion ) the constituents may give rise to irritant dust which, in extreme cases of exposure, could lead to more serious respiratory problems.
