FLEXITALLIC AF2100 FLEXITALLIC LIMITED PO BOX 3 MARSH WORKS DEWSBURY ROAD CLECKHEATON WEST YORKSHIRE BD19 5BT TEL: 01274 851273 FAX: 01274 851386 PRODUCT REFERENCE: FLEXITALLIC AF 2100 DESCRIPTION: AF 2100 is a high performance nitrile rubber based sheet sealing material reinforced with glass fibre. COLOUR: Blue SERVICE: AF 2100 is suitable for sealing in a wide range of applications involving steam, water, oils, fuels, mild acids and alkalis. Maximum recommended temperature : 475OC (887OF) Maximum recommended pressure : 14 MPa (140 bar; 2030 psi) These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used simultaneously and may not apply at all thicknesses. Do NOT use gasket pastes. The higher compressibility of AF 2100 compared to CAF combined with the comparative effects of thickness on residual stress means that AF 2100 should be used at lower thicknesses. It is recommended that 1.0 mm AF 2100 be used in place of 1.5 mm CAF.
