Introduction
The NOVAFLAM® rotary kiln burner by Fives Pillard is a state-of-the-art technology designed for rotary kiln firing. It offers high flexibility, ease of operation, and repeatable flame shaping adjustments. The burner is capable of firing a high percentage of Alternative Solid Fuels (ASF) and features a low NOx proprietary version.

Specifications
The NOVAFLAM® burner is characterized by a single primary air supply with two outlets, allowing for variable swirl component adjustments without altering the primary air amount. The burner can handle a wide range of fuels including coal, petroleum coke, anthracite, lignite, heavy oil, diesel oil, natural gas, and various alternative solid fuels such as plastics, wood chips, sawdust, and animal meal. The output range is from 10 MW to 200 MW, with primary air flow rates between 7% to 10% at pressures from 150 mbar to 300 mbar.

Performance and Flexibility
The burner is tailor-made for each application, ensuring optimal performance. It allows for quick flame optimization and is particularly suited for low-grade fuel requirements. The flame width can be adjusted using the swirl adjustment device.
