ULTIMATE TECHNOLOGY WITH A LIMITED INVESTMENT Pillard Windcheck™ integrates ultrasound technology into a single unit to measure wind velocity and direction. The ultrasound technology is based on sound propagation through the air ; two transducers are alternately transmitters and receivers. The outward and return transit times induced by the air flow are measured. Using the time difference, the internal calculator measures the wind speed and direction compared to its reference axis.
