Overview
Pillard DarkscanFlex™ is a flame monitor designed for industrial rotary kiln burners, compatible with gaseous, liquid, or solid fuels. It features a compact, all-in-one design that simplifies handling, storage, transportation, and installation.

Design and Installation
The device's design includes a burner-embedded viewfinder that resists dusty air and uses the burner nozzle for cooling. The flame sensor is easily replaceable due to a quick disassembly system with a removable electrical connector. The flame controller's display provides quick visualization of the detector's status and flame intensity.

Monitoring and Reliability
Pillard DarkscanFlex™ enhances equipment safety, especially during ramp-up phases, using pyrometric measurement between two flame points. It avoids interference from hot fixed elements in the furnace and includes self-checking technology for high reliability. It is certified under EN298 (2012) and available in an ATEX version for hazardous areas.
