ITAS Ductflame

ITAS Ductflame

Product catalog summary
Overview
ITAS Ductflame modular duct burners are designed for high-temperature applications such as ovens, dryers, and fume incinerators. They offer a power range from 100kW to 30 MW and can be combined with other equipment for adaptable installation and variable power supply. These burners are plug-and-play solutions aimed at reducing commissioning time.
Combustion Features
The burners feature mixture formation on the flame head, with combustion air delivered by a ventilator or directly into the process stream. Air and fuel gas mixing is optimized for emissions and efficiency, with mixing occurring at nozzle outlets to prevent backfiring.
Model F
Applications: Suitable for producing large volumes of warm, clean air, and using process air as combustion air in applications like atomizing burners for ceramics and steam-producing heaters.
Operating Conditions: Nominal capacity per module is 300 kW with a turndown ratio of 1:10. The maximum differential pressure for natural gas at the burner inlet is 380 mbar, and the maximum process air pressure is 5 mbar. The flame length is 3 mm. The maximum inlet temperature for process/combustion air is 750°C, with a minimum O2 level of 11% at 600°C. The maximum outlet temperature is 1,200°C. Emissions are controlled to CO < 70 ppm and NOx < 80 ppm at 3% O2.
Model L
Applications: Designed for air recovery installations, minimizing fresh air introduction, such as in oven air recovery.
Operating Conditions: Each module has a nominal capacity of 300 kW with a turndown ratio of 1:10. The differential pressure for natural gas at the burner inlet is 380 mbar, and for combustion air, it is 30 mbar. The flame length is 3 mm. Combustion air can have a maximum inlet temperature of 300°C with a minimum O2 level of 20%. Process air can have a maximum inlet temperature of 750°C with a minimum O2 level of >10%. The maximum outlet temperature is 1,200°C. Emissions are CO < 450 ppm and NOx < 100 ppm at 3% O2.
Model R
Applications: Suitable for processes requiring minimal and controllable combustion air, such as high-efficiency hoods in the paper industry.
Operating Conditions: Each module has a nominal capacity of 125 kW with a turndown ratio of 1:10. The differential pressure for natural gas at the burner inlet is 90 mbar, and for combustion air, it is 15 mbar. The flame length is 1.5 mm. Combustion air can have a maximum inlet temperature of 300°C with a minimum O2 level of 20%. Process air can have a maximum inlet temperature of 750°C with a minimum O2 level of >10%. The maximum outlet temperature is 1,200°C. Emissions are CO < 50 ppm and NOx < 100 ppm at 3% O2.
