Open the catalog to page 1Bulletin 71.1:95 Introduction The 95 Series regulators are compact, large-capacity, direct-operated pressure regulators (see Figures 1 and 2). The units are available in NPS 1/4 through 2 (DN 15 through 50) sizes and are offered in several different end connection configurations. They are designed to handle pressures up to 600 psig (41,4 bar) and temperatures up to 650°F (343°C). This product can help solve the toughest pressure control applications. Typical applications include superheated steam, steam injection, steam tracing, nitrogen purging, boiler feed water, process chemicals,...

Select type number and spring range using Tables 3 and 5. 3. Using the Fisher® Sizing Program, calculate Cg from data given in the capacity tables. Use the table inlet pressure closest to the service condition. Also calculate using the table outlet pressure which is closest to the spring bias. 4. Use the information in Step 3 to calculate Cg using the Fisher Sizing Program. 5. Calculate flow for application based upon actual conditions and calculated Cg....

These constructions comply with the recommendations of NACE International sour service standards. The manufacturing processes and materials used by Emerson assure that all products specified for sour gas service comply with the chemical, physical, and metallurgical requirements of NACE MR0175 ISO and/or NACE MR0103. Customers have the responsibility to specify correct materials. Environmental limitations may apply and shall be Capacity Data The capacity...
Open the catalog to page 10Bulletin 71.1:95 3. For a given body size and inlet pressure, find the capacity Qa for P2a and Qb for P2b. 4. Use the following formula to determine the interpolated capacity (Q). Qb - Qa P2b - P2a = Qb - Q P2b - P2 Example: P1 = 100 psig (6,9 bar) NPS 1/4 Type 95H with 15 to 30 psig (1,0 to 2,1 bar) spring range P2 = 20 psig (1,4 bar) Determine air capacity, Q. Solution: Qa = 1100 SCFH (29,5 Nm3/h) P2a = 15 psig (1,0 bar) Qb = 1600 SCFH (42,9 Nm3/h) P2b = 30 psig (2,1 bar) 1600 - 1100 30 - 15 = = 1600 - Q 30 - 20 42,9 - Q 2,1 - 1,4 Q = 34,0 Nm3/h Then, if capacity is...
Open the catalog to page 11To determine wide-open flow capacity for relief valve sizing of steam, use the equation for critical pressure drops (absolute outlet pressure equal to one-half or less than one-half absolute inlet pressure). Q = Steam flow, pounds/h P-i(abs) = Absolute inlet pressure, psia (add 14.7 psi to gauge inlet pressure to obtain absolute inlet pressure) Cs = Wide-open steam sizing coefficient from Table 4 For pressure drops lower than critical (absolute outlet pressure greater than one-half absolute inlet pressure), use the sizing nomographs in Fisher Catalog 10, or the Fisher Sizing Program.
