As heat transfer and pressure loss in the plate heat exchanger are directly proportional, a high heat transfer rate results in an increased pressure loss. By the free selection of profile angles, the FISCHER OMNI FLOW SYSTEM allows perfect adjustability of the desired heat transfer rate while optimising pressure losses and heat exchange areas. Due to their special plate structure, our high performance heat exchangers are perfectly suited for media with a distinctive temperatedependent viscosity. Adjusting the plate profile permits the generation of various flow characteristics within the same plate channel, perfectly matching the media’s viscosity.
