Arian Range

Product catalog summary
Overview: The document describes the Arian range of conventional fire control panels, available in three models with 2, 4, and 8 detection zones. These panels are designed for smaller installations and comply with EN54 parts 2 and 4 (1998) standards.
Specifications: The control panels feature active End of Line monitoring, programmable zone coincidence, and an alarm delay timer (0-10 minutes) to reduce false alarms. They support up to 32 conventional smoke and/or heat detectors per zone and include a one-man test facility for easy testing during commissioning and maintenance.
Features: The panels offer two access levels, supervised auxiliary 24-volt output, two supervised sounder circuits, and two programmable inputs for functions like class change and remote reset. They also include two relay outputs for fire and fault conditions, a repeater output, and a multiplexed output for LEDs and additional relay outputs per zone.
Technical Specifications: The panels operate on a mains supply voltage of 85-264V 50/60 Hz with an internal power supply of 28.5 V DC nominal. They support a maximum battery size of 2 x 12V 7AH SLA and have a mains fuse of 4 A – 250 V Slow Blow. The detection circuit supports a maximum cable resistance of 40 Ω and a maximum cable capacitance of 0.470 µF.
Sounder Circuit: The sounder circuit includes two circuits with an end-of-line resistor value of 10 K Ohms, monitoring for open and short circuits, and an alarm voltage of 27.5 V DC. The maximum current available is 1 Amp at 27.5 V DC nominal.
Auxiliary Outputs and Inputs: The auxiliary power output is 27.5 V DC nominal with a maximum current draw of 300 mA. The fire relay is active in fire conditions, and the fault relay is normally closed, opening on any fault. Auxiliary inputs include non-latching voltage-free contacts for class change, remote reset, and remote silence.
Dimensions and Operating Conditions: The panel dimensions are 278 (W) x 430 (L) x 106 (H) mm, with a weight of 1.6 Kgs without batteries. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to +40ºC and a maximum relative humidity of 85% non-condensing.

DATA SHEET ARIAN Conventional Fire control panel The Arian range of conventional control panels features three models with 2, 4 and 8 Zones of detection. Housed in a stylish modern ABS housing, the Arian is the ideal control panel for smaller installations. Designed and manufactured to comply with the requirements of EN54 parts 2 and 4(1998) the Arian uses active End of Line monitoring to permit head removal protection as required by BS5839. (detector bases must be fitted with Diode) Programmable Zone coincidence and alarm delay timer (0-10 min) are standard features to help reduce false alarms. The one man test facility enables simple and rapid testing of the system at commissioning and during maintenance operations. Features: Two, four and eight zone non-expandable control panels. Up to 32 conventional smoke and/or heat detectors per zone. Active End of Line monitoring Programmable non-latching zones Delay timer programmable on/off per zone Zone coincidence programmable for adjacent zones.
