Mixer System Overview
This document provides technical specifications for the DB 180 4x4 four-wheel drive mixer system by FIORI GROUP S.p.A., compliant with Directive 2006/42/CE.

Transmission and Speed
The mixer features a hydrostatic "automotive" transmission with a variable displacement pump and motor, controlled electro-hydraulically. It includes an electro-hydraulically controlled mechanical gearbox for different speed settings, offering four forward gears and two reverse gears with speeds ranging from 0 to 20.2 Km/h.

Water System
The system includes a self-priming volumetric water pump with a maximum capacity of 140 litres/min and a maximum head of 3 bar. It features a 240-litre tank and a Mix Control system for programmable water management, with electromagnetic flow meter readings displayed in the cabin and at the rear.

Mixing and Pouring
The mixer uses a double-cone drum with double-spiral mixing screws, having a geometrical volume of 2,560 litres and a rotation speed of 20 rpm. It can produce Class S1 concrete at 1.8 cu m. The drum is operated by a piston pump and can be raised to a horizontal position.

Loading Shovel
The loading arms have a fixed loader with an automatic unloading hatch, a volumetric capacity of 470 litres, and can handle 5-6 shovelfuls per load, achieving up to 4 cycles per hour.

Service Refill Capacities
The fuel tank holds 46 litres, the hydraulic system 67 litres, and the engine oil 7.07 kg.

Weights and Capacities
The operating weight is 3,700 kg, with a maximum gross weight of 8,400 kg and a load-carrying capacity of 4,700 kg.

Hydraulic System
Features a gear pump with a maximum flow rate of 35 litres/min and a maximum pressure of 170 bar, including a 3-element distributor with joystick and an aluminium heat exchanger.

Axles and Wheels
The front axle is load-bearing and oscillating, while the rear axle is load-bearing with planetary reduction gears. The tyres are sized 12.0/75-18 12PR.

Brakes
Includes internal oil-bath disc service and emergency brakes on all four wheels, with a drum parking brake on the front axle.

Steering
Assisted by load-sensing power steering acting on two half-frames with opposed jacks.

Cab
The open cab is designed according to ROPS & FOPS Lev. I criteria, with a 180° pivoting driving post and ergonomic controls.

Diesel Engine
Powered by a YANMAR 4TNV88 engine, delivering a maximum power of 36.9 kW (49 Hp) and a maximum torque of 139 Nm at 1,200 rpm, compliant with Directive 2004/26/CE - Stage III A.

Electric System
Includes a 12 V - 40 A alternator and a 12 V - 80 Ah battery, with a road light system.
