The FA-2 series consists of tank top return spin-on hydraulic filters designed for installation on reservoir tanks. These filters are intended for use on return lines in hydraulic systems.

Filter Element Details

• Wire Mesh Elements: Codes T60, T125 with nominal filtration ratings of 60 μm and 125 μm

Dimensions and Sizes

The filters come in nominal sizes with detailed dimensional data for installation:

• FA-2-10 and FA-2-11: 3/4" BSP connection, various lengths (200 mm and 265 mm)
• FA-2-20 and FA-2-21: 1 1/2" BSP connection, lengths 255 mm and 300 mm

Pressure Drop Characteristics

Pressure drop curves are provided according to ISO 3968 class B, measured using mineral oil with 30 cSt viscosity and density of 0.86 kg/dm³. Variations in fluid viscosity and density will affect pressure drop data.

Indicators and Settings

• Available indicator types include visual indicators, pressure gauges, and pressure switches (normally open or normally closed).
• Pressure gauge scales range from 0 to 10 Bar (0 to 145 psi).
• Pressure switch settings typically at 1.3 Bar (18.85 psi) for open or closed contacts.
• Vacuum gauges available with ranges from -1 to 5 Bar (-14.5 to 72.5 psi).
