Filtrafine Superior-Fine Series Filter Cartridges are designed with a retention rating ranging from 1 to 100µm. They operate under a maximum temperature of 158°F (70°C) and have a recommended change-out differential pressure of 35 psid (2.4 bar). All materials used are FDA listed for food and beverage contact, ensuring safety and compliance with CFR 177.1500 standards. Materials of Construction:
The filter media, end caps, and extended core are made from melt-blown polypropylene, while gaskets and O-rings are available in silicone, Buna-N, Viton, and EPDM. The cartridges have an outside diameter of 2.5” (63mm) and an inside diameter of 1.1” (28mm), with lengths ranging from 4” to 50” (101.6mm to 1270mm).

Performance and Design:
The graded pore structure enhances dirt holding capacity and filtration efficiency. A proprietary inter-zone bonding process ensures a rigid filtration structure that does not compress under increased differential pressure. The high purity material optimizes filtration media for longer life and higher efficiencies. Cartridges are easily disposable via incineration, shredding, or compaction.

Ordering Information:
Cartridges are available in various lengths and configurations, including DOE, SOE with 222 or 226 O-rings, and different gasket materials such as PE, Buna-N, EPDM, Viton, and Silicone. The flow rate is specified per 10” cartridge, and adjustments are necessary for liquids other than water based on fluid viscosity.
