Filtrafine HIE Series Filter Cartridges are designed with high efficiency melt-blown polypropylene media, offering high flow and contaminant holding capacity. The cartridges are constructed with polypropylene hardware and support material, and sealed with thermal bonds. They are available in various lengths and fit most size 1 and size 2 bag housings without hardware changes.

Performance Specifications
The cartridges feature fixed pore construction to resist contaminant unloading at maximum differential pressure and an inside-out flow design to trap dirt inside, preventing downstream contamination. They are manufactured in a Class 1,000 clean room under an ISO 9001 quality system.

Materials and Compatibility
Various gasket and O-ring materials are available, including silicone, EPDM, Buna-N, Viton, and Teflon encapsulated Viton, ensuring compatibility with many fluids. The polypropylene construction is inert to many process fluids, providing wide chemical compatibility.

Retention Ratings
HIEP cartridges offer retention ratings of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 40, 70, and 100μm, while HEIA cartridges provide absolute ratings of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, and 40μm.
