Filtrafine TKV Series Filter Housings Overview

Housing Specifications:
The TKV Series filter housings are constructed from either 304 or 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance. Key components such as the head, shell, vent cap, drain plug, bottom seat plate, and internal components are all made from these materials. The shell O-rings are standard EPDM, with optional materials including Viton, Teflon encapsulated Viton, and Silicone.

Connections:
The housings feature various connection options: Inlet/Outlet sizes range from 1.5” to 3” NPT or ANSI Flange, with vent and drain connections at 1/4” NPT and 3/4” NPT respectively. Optional connections include JIS, DIN Flanged, PT, and BSP.

Performance Specifications:
The maximum operating pressure is 150 psig (10.3 bar) at 200°F (93°C) for liquid service. The housings are not recommended for gas service. The innovative sealing system accommodates both single open end and double open end cartridges, enhancing flexibility in filter cartridge selection. The housings can accept seven cartridges of varying lengths (10”, 20”, 30”, 40”), allowing for optimal system design.

The TKV Series offers an optional electropolish finish and features an operator-friendly V-Clamp closure for quick and easy cartridge change-out. Models are available in 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12 round configurations.
