Housing Specifications
The Filtrafine IDV-DOE Series Filter Housings are constructed with 316 Stainless Steel for both the head and shell, while the mounting bracket is made from 304 Stainless Steel. Standard gaskets and O-rings are made of Viton, with optional materials including Teflon Encapsulated Viton and EPDM.

Performance Specifications
The housings feature an absolute cartridge sealing design to eliminate fluid bypass and accept cartridge lengths of 4”, 10”, and 20”. The operator-friendly tri-clamp sealing design requires no special tools for cartridge change-out and allows visual inspection of the cartridge seal before closing the housing. The stainless steel tri-clamp bracket facilitates easy cartridge replacement. The maximum operating pressure is 175 psig (12.1 bar) at 150ºF (66ºC).

Connections
Inlet/Outlet connections are available in 3/4” (26.7mm) and 1” (33.4mm) FNPT. Vent/gauge connections are 1/8” (10.3mm) NPT, and the drain connection is 1/4” (13.7mm) NPT.

Dimensional Data
The IDV4S model supports a flow rate up to 4 gpm (15.1 lpm) with dimensions of 7.4” (189mm) by 4.2” (106mm) and a dry weight of 8.6 lbs (3.9 kg). The IDV10S model supports up to 10 gpm (37.9 lpm) with dimensions of 13.4” (341mm) by 4.2” (106mm) and a dry weight of 10.1 lbs (4.6 kg). The IDV20S model supports up to 20 gpm (75.7 lpm) with dimensions of 23.2” (591mm) by 4.2” (106mm) and a dry weight of 12.6 lbs (5.7 kg).

Ordering Information
The product naming convention includes the model (IDV), cartridge length (4, 10, 20), material of construction (S for 316SS), inlet/outlet connection size (3/4), cartridge type (DOE for Double Open End), and bracket type (CB for Tri-Clamp Bracket).

Additional Notes
For liquids other than water, the pressure drop should be multiplied by the specific gravity of the fluid. The document also includes a graph showing housing pressure drop versus liquid flow rate.
