Housing Specifications
The Filtrafine IDV-3 Series Filter Housings are constructed with 316 stainless steel for both the head and shell, and 304 stainless steel for the mounting bracket. Standard gaskets and O-rings are made of Viton, with optional materials including Teflon encapsulated Viton and EPDM.

Performance Specifications
The housings feature an absolute cartridge sealing design to eliminate fluid bypass and accept cartridge lengths of 4", 10", 20", and 30". The innovative design has no internal parts and uses a tri-clamp sealing design that requires no special tools for cartridge change-out. This design minimizes maintenance costs and allows for quick opening and closing of the housing, as well as visual inspection of the cartridge to housing seal prior to closing. The maximum operating pressure is 175 psig (12.1 bar) at 150ºF (66ºC).

Connections
Inlet/Outlet connections are available in 3/4” (26.7mm) and 1” (33.4mm) FNPT, with vent/gauge connections at 1/8” (10.3mm) NPT and drain connections at 1/4” (13.7mm) NPT.

Dimensional Data and Ordering Information
The filter housings are available in various models based on cartridge length, material of construction, and connection size. The models range from IDV4S to IDV30S, with flow rates from 4 gpm (15.1 lpm) to 30 gpm (113.5 lpm). Dimensions and dry weights vary accordingly, with the smallest model measuring 7.4” (189mm) and weighing 7.9 lbs (3.6 kg), and the largest measuring 34.1” (866mm) and weighing 13.9 lbs (6.3 kg).

Additional Information
For liquids other than water, the pressure drop should be multiplied by the specific gravity of the fluid. A graph is provided to illustrate the housing pressure drop versus liquid flow rate.
