Product catalog summary
Description
Fike Corporation offers reliable explosion protection solutions with its Vmax explosion vents. These vents feature a single membrane, multi-dome surface designed for long service life in harsh conditions, such as pulsating or cycling environments, higher operating pressures, and stronger vacuums. The Vmax vent is tested to withstand 100,000 positive pressure cycles and approximately 1,000,000 vacuum-to-positive cycles, making it suitable for applications like separation, drying, storage, conveyance, and processing operations. Fike also provides a stock vent program for popular sizes and burst pressures with quick shipping.

Standard Features and Benefits
  • Inconel Metal Tabs: Ensure stable burst pressure ratings regardless of temperature fluctuations, extending service life.
  • FDA Approved Materials: Suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications.
  • High Operating Ratio: Allows for lower burst pressures and more flexible process conditions, enhancing safety.
  • Instantaneous Full Opening: Reduces risk of accidental contamination.
  • Fail-Safe Design: Certified burst pressures ensure predictable opening even if damaged.
  • Dynamically Tested: Exclusive full-scale explosion condition testing by Fike.
  • 100% Venting Efficiency: Provides optimal relief area, saving costs.
  • Easy Installation: Reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Non-Fragmenting Design: Minimizes risk to personnel and equipment.
