Type B | Thermal CNC Punching and Cutting Machine | Ficep FICEP STEEL CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY | PLATES TIPO B: PUNCHING AND THERMAL CUTTING OF STEEL PLATES TIPO B system is the most innovative solution for the fabrication of plates: a CNC punching and thermal cutting line which integrates all the typical functions normally required in plate fabrication. The ability to start with raw material and end with the finished part including such operations as drilling, milling, punching, marking, scribing and cutting the part to the desired size and shape is what makes the TIPO B truly unique. PROCESSES PUNCHING DRILLING TAPPING COUNTERSINKING SCRIBING MARKING OXY CUTTING PLASMA CUTTING PUNCHING UNIT The punching unit, complete with 4 positions tool-changer, consists of an hydraulic cylinder designed to integrate the hydraulic clamping of punch and coaxial stripper. DRILLING UNIT TIPO B can also be equipped with a high speed drilling unit with 4 positions tool-changer, to perform drilling, tapping, countersinking and scribing operations. OXY TORCHES Up to two oxycutting torches are available to cover all manufacturing needs.

FUME EXHAUST SYSTEM The exhaust system filters the fume generated by thermal cutting operations. The air is cleaned according to the latest health and safety requirements. LATERAL GRIPPERS The plate is positioned by lateral powered grippers having a very precise linear rack and pinion device, that positions the plate to precise tolerance and measures its actual location.
