Tightening automation Window frames field Customer requirement: Tightening system to be integrated onto a production line of wooden window frames. Automatic tightening of self-threading bushings with depth control: in fact the bushing must not protrude from the horizontal surface. Such production line is manufactured for an important Norwegian producer of wooden doors and windows. Solution: Fiam has manufactured a customized solution with two self-feeding automatic systems with following features: - Special feeding unit for bushes; - Special selector; - double-movement fastening slides equipped 2 with 2 air nutrunner motors MCG25 with automatic and immediate air shut-off suitable to arrange tightening: In depth and in horizontal positions up to a max. torque of about 12 Nm on an area with an encumbrance/shoulder below the tightening point Synchronously or asynchronously depending on the production needs Complete production line Detail of Fiam tightening system installed on the line Details of the feeding system installed on the line

Window frames field Special head suitable to feed the bushings and arrange depth tightening. The tightened bushing never protrudes, even in case of irregular surfaces, thanks to 2 mechanical stop devices and related sensors that rest each time on the surface to be tightened. Advantages: • The bushes are depth tightened without any protrusion, moreover even reduced access points are reached • High production rate: achieved cycle time is 20 tightening / minute. Continuity of cycles is assured by automatic feeding of the bushings without any jamming • Compact solution easily integrated...
