The Power Module design provides a robust, reliable, and easy to operate generator set package suitable for the demanding requirements of the rental industry. Modern emissions compliant engines combined with excellent sound attenuation and fluid spill containment provide a generator set package capable of operating in environmentally sensitive areas. Externally accessible control panel and circuit breaker allows connection and operation from outside the container. A wide range of control panel options allow for multiple applications such as single set island mode, multiple set paralleling and mains paralleling in both prime and standby modes. Features • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Robustly constructed walk in enclosure designed to provide the necessary weather protection, sound attenuation and ventilation for the generator set and switchgear 20, 30 and 40 ft ISO containers – containers are designed and constructed in accordance with ISO 668 Series 1 freight containers – classification, dimensions and ratings Container sound attenuation providing 80 – 85 dBA at 1m (all noise levels in accordance with 2000/14/EC) Lloyds CSC container plating Corner fittings providing four point lifting capability for full wet weight Fork lift pockets (20 ft container only) Two personnel access doors (1 per side) complete with internal panic release buttons External emergency stop buttons located at each container door Internally mounted exhaust system with CE protective guards Vertical cooling air discharge Internal lighting – DC bulkhead lights complete with push type timer switch located at personnel doors Internal fuel tank – fuel tank is integral to generating set baseframe or free standing depending on model selected Fully bunded container floor for spill containment Interlocked 3-way valves allowing for running off internal or external fuel tank • Fuel lines are terminated at the outside of the container and are fitted with quick release fittings for connecting to an external bulk fuel tank • External service connections for lube oil and coolant drains terminated at the side of the container.
