The ID ZK is a read-only terminal that operates as a stand-alone device without needing a PC or controller connection. It can monitor entrances such as doors, turnstiles, or barriers and works with both RO and RW transponders. Programming and deletion of transponders are managed via a master card. The device can read serial numbers of RW transponders, allowing integration into existing RW applications without issuing new transponders. An optional external antenna can be connected for enhanced functionality, and the device is available as a circuit board without housing.
