The HRX Series headache rack (HRX01) is suitable for use with most full-size 1500 work trucks (see dimension details). The mounting brackets feature a laser-cut Federal Signal logo and have a 4-bolt support for a secure fit. Mounting hardware is included for ease of installation. Customizable Integrated Warning Light Solutions The HRX Series headache rack is a versatile work truck solution that allows users the flexibility to customize the rack with warning and work lights based upon their needs. Pre-fitted with 3 mounting tabs across the top of the rack, the Federal Signal Headache Rack can accommodate lightbars up to 53" in length. With the use of accessory brackets, mini-lightbars such as the Federal Signal HighLighter can be mounted on the headache rack. Integrated into the top bar of the headache rack is a channel to mount the Federal Signal Latitude (SL8F-X or SL8S-A). The Latitude will fit recessed into the top bar for a clean complete install. Additionally, on each side of the Latitude channel on the top bar are predrilled mounting holes for Federal Signal MicroPulse 6 Ultra Series lightheads. Accessories to Fit a Variety of Mounting Needs The HRX Series has many optional accessories to fit all of your safety needs. Brackets are available for mounting Federal Signal HighLighters to the tabs on the top of the headache rack, HRX-HL. For wiring simplicity, a 4-channel TPR cable harness (HRX-CABLE) can be used to create a seamless warning light system. The wires can be routed through the headache rack structure for protection against cargo and elements. The HRX-MESH, an optional black e-coated mesh punched screen, is available that can be easily mounted to the rack to for added protection of the cab and back wind
