P e r f ect C o n t rol The flox[on] S is designed for medium gas flows between 70 and 1650 Nlmin-1 under operating pressures of up to 16 bar. The measurement of the gas flow is based on principles of thermal anemometry. The mass flow is regulated by means of a technically sophisticated pressure-compensated proportional valve, which operates independently of pressure fluctuations at the in- and outlets. Gas e s a n d ca l i b rati on Before delivery, the measuring cell in every flox[on] S is calibrated with atmospheric air. There are correction factors for applications using other gases. In individual cases, if desired by the client, the calibration can be made directly with the specific gas intended for use. If a mixed gas such as air or natural gas is used, it should be noted that a change in the composition of the gas can occur during operation.
