Activated carbon cartridge filters series P-CARB model PCA-1 / PCE-1 / PCG-1 Description Activated carbon cylindrical cartridge filter. It is commonly used for the deodorization and the chemical-physical adsorption of gaseous pollutants. The design of a purification system with activated carbon requires: the knowledge of the chemical composition of pollutants, the relative concentration and the thermo-hygrometric conditions of the air to be treated. The models PCA-1, PCE-1 and PCG-1 differ according to the cartridge diameter and to the thickness of the carbon bed. Filter media Micro-granules of mineral activated carbon type CA-1 for organic odours. Specific solutions according to the application are available. Construction Galvanised steel supporting plate equipped with holes for the quick cartridge installation (bayonet). Rechargeable cylindrical cartridges, with supporting expanded steel meshes and neoprene gasket on the connection edge. Disposal Regenerable filter in specialised companies (CER 15 02 03 / 15 02 02* depending on usage). Operating range Maximum temperature: 50 °C (continuos operation) Maximum relative humidity : 70% Applications Filtration and deodorization of the air in civil and industrial air conditioning systems, where the control of the gaseous pollutants is required (for example airports, refineries, museums, laboratories, hospitals). Special executions PCD-i : with different impregnants according to applications (i = 1-5 : see sheet CA). PXD-i : like PCD-i but with stainless steel supporting plate.
