Whirl circular diffuser DES / DES-Q Whirl circular diffuser for ceiling installation. The whirling exhaust with Coanda effect, thanks to a rounded edge, allows a quick mixing and so a quick reduction of the thermic jump and velocity, which result reduced already at a short distance. Fixing by central screw (screw with cover). It is mainly used in civil air conditioning systems for offices, shops, hospital stays, exhibition areas. The DES-Q version is equipped with plate 595x595 mm. Construction Painted steel sheet. Finish Gloss white RAL 9010, powder painted. Accessories PLSS : standard plenum with adjustable damper from the room complete with central screw for fixing the diffuser and relative screw cover PLIS : as PLSS but with internal insulation. * polyurethane thickness 6 mm, cl.1 Specifications Whirl circular diffuser for ceiling installation. In the case of diffusion with Dt = -10 °C (cooling) reduce X0,2 by 15%, with Dt = 10 °C (heating) increase X0,2 by 20%. 2...
Open the catalog to page 2Whirl circular diffuser DES / DES-Q Air flow calculation Due to possible asymmetries caused by plenum and flexible duct, it is necessary to position the velocity probe to measure vk at least in 4 equally spaced points at the angles. You must position the probe as showed in the picture. In each point you must measure the average velocity in an interval of at least 1 minute (average in time). In order to get the air flow you calculate therefore the arithmetic mean vk of the values measured in this way.
