The AC Surge Protective Device (SPD) model FV50B/3+NPE-255S is designed for low-voltage distribution systems and conforms to IEC 61643-11 / EN 61643-11 Type 1 standards. It is suitable for TT network types and offers protection modes for L1, L2, L3-N, and N-PE. The nominal voltage is 220/380 Vac at 50(60)Hz, with a maximum continuous operating voltage of 255 Vac at 50(60)Hz. The device operates with a continuous current of less than 20 µA and has a standby power consumption of ≤25 mVA.
The nominal discharge current is rated at 50 kA for an 8/20μs waveform, and the impulse discharge current is also 50 kA for a 10/350μs waveform. The voltage protection level is ≤1.8 kV for L-N and ≤1.5 kV for N-PE. The isolation resistance is greater than 1000 MΩ, with response times of ≤25 ns for L-N and ≤100 ns for N-PE.
The device includes a mechanical disconnection indicator and remote control contact. It is a Type 1 lightning arrester with a 50kA@10/350μs rating for one phase. The SPD features an indication window and remote control contacts, utilizing unique design and patent technology. It is used in lightning protection zones at the boundary LPZ0B-LPZ1 and incorporates multilayer spark gap technology for high discharge capacity and low residual voltage.
